"Impact Wrestling has released Tara. We thank Tara for all her contributions and wish her the best of success in the future," TNA announced during the afternoon of July 16.
Tara is the third Knockout to be released by TNA as of late. TNA previously released Madison Rayne and Taeler Hendrix, the latter of whom said she asked for her release. Matt Morgan and Doug Williams also said they asked to be released from the company.
