WWE.com: CM Punk Sustains Multiple Injuries On Raw

CM Punk and Brock Lesnar went at it during the July 15 edition of WWE Raw, and it ended with Punk taking more of a beating than Lesnar.

After the physical encounter between the two men, Punk sustained bruised if not broken ribs, whiplash, and strained ligaments in his left knee and right ankle, according to WWE.com.

Paul Heyman unleashed Lesnar on Punk because he doesn't think he's the best in the world. He also said he doesn't think Punk can beat Lesnar.
