TNA released D.O.C. and Tara from the company on July 16 for two different reasons.
Word is D.O.C. was released from TNA because his contract negotiations went on so long that his original contract expired. RVD is said to have left the company because his own contract negotiations were similarly allowed to continue down to the wire. The blame is being placed on Bruce Prichard for letting this happen.
D.O.C. and TNA might still come to terms on a contract, but he's nevertheless gone for now.
Whereas Tara's release is said to be a cost-cutting measure, as she was the highest-paid Knockout by a high margin. TNA has chosen to invest the money that'll be saved from releasing her elsewhere.
