This week's WWE Smackdown hasn't aired yet, but WWE.com has already reported something happened during the show's June 11 taping that resulted in someone being fine $10,000.
According to WWE.com, Kaitlyn attacked Aksana, her opponent that night, when a video was played on the TitanTron of AJ Lee revealing herself on Raw to be her secret admirer. During Kaitlyn's attack, she inadvertently slapped a WWE referee.
Teddy Long told WWE announcer Renee Young, "I'm not gonna be real hard or strict on Kaitlyn, you know, because I've been watching this thing develop between her and AJ. And I can understand and I see all the pressure that's on her, you know."
"But you know it's a rule here, and that rule is no man or woman can put their hands on any official referee. Kaitlyn did that, maybe she didn't mean to, but I have no choice but to fine her $10,000," Long told Young.
