"I've talked to someone in WWE yesterday who just, they didn't think there was anything to it or at least weren't aware of it," Jason Powell said on PWTorch.com's July 16 livecast. "Because they just pointed to the fact that, 'Yeah, ok. They're working, they're lower on the card, but not everyone is going to be featured prominently all the time.' So I don't know if there's a little coverup there or if its just no, there's not much to it."
PWTorch.com Editor Wade Keller noted Seth Rollins might've had heat when he was in NXT.
"There was concern about him in developmental that he was a little slow to come around to WWE's way of doing things that in a way made it seem like, you know, he might think he knows more than he does or might be less willing to conform to being a team player in WWE and doing things that maybe go against his instincts or how he got over on the indy scene," Keller said.
