One fan said Orton was never tagged in by RVD or Daniel Bryan during their tag team dark match against The Shield and just hit an RKO at the end. Though it was Bryan who won the match by making Seth Rollins tap to the Yes! Lock. "Thinking back, he was definitely off by the end of the show," the fan said.
Another fan confirmed Orton didn't work much in the match, but was able to execute his finisher. She added, "I was sitting ringside and from what I could see Randy looked fine. In fact, he was joking around with Rob Van Dam and Daniel Bryan during the dark match ... He was also the last one to leave the ringside as he went around and signed autographs for, like, everyone."
Orton said himself on Twitter he's fine even though Del Rio kicked him really hard in the neck during their match. This was after WWE.com reported late on July 16 Orton sustained a cervical strain and neuropraxia in his match against Del Rio.
