The Celtic Warrior also shared the accompanying photo of his left thigh, which was inflamed to double its size by a ladder injury sustained during the Money In The Bank All-Stars match.
You can see a photo below of Sheamus's bruised thigh just one day after he took the hit.
But it wasn't all bad news. Sheamus said the injury allowed him to have his first day off from being on the road with WWE in four years.
