TNA President Dixie Carter and management talked to the locker room prior the July 18 Destination-X edition of Impact Wrestling about recent talent releases and financial issues.
Word is Carter told everyone they are still being evaluated and didn't rule out the possibility of more cuts being made. She said they'd be made for the long-term good of the company. Carter explained TNA has had to restructure because a lot of money was spent on taping the One Night Only pay-per-view in March right before they left the Universal Studios Orlando space that hosted the Impact Zone.
Sources within the company indicate additional cuts are indeed underway.
TNA CFO/COO Dean Broadhead, Executive Vice President Andy Barton and Jeff Jarrett were said to be at the Louisville, Kentucky show in question. This caught a number of people by surprise.
