Bauer said he talked to someone within TNA who couldn't name Jarrett's position with the company because there's a legal situation involved. Jarrett comes into the TNA offices on and off and has been doing so for a while now, he said. Pro Wrestling Report claimed on July 20 that Jarrett is still on the company payroll.
The former WWE writer also said Bruce Prichard, who was recently released as TNA senior vice president of talent relations, was one of the laziest guy he's ever worked with in the wrestling business and not very detailed-oriented. Bauer said Prichard crashed and burned when he was WWE head of talent relations and a lead writer because he couldn't handle too much responsibility.
Prichard's WWE track record is why it's not surprising to Bauer that the TNA contracts of RVD and Bobby Roode were allowed to lapse under his watch. Though Bauer noted Prichard was good at coordinating the filming of WWE pre-tapes.
