More details have emerged about Ric Flair being removed from the August 17 WWE 2K14 30 Years Of Wrestlemania Symposium.

As has been reported, Flair was removed from the symposium and replaced by Jerry Lawler for when the panelists took questions from the media. Stephanie McMahon is said to have been rushed in to the symposium by her personal security staff in order to apologize on behalf of WWE.

It turns out Lisa Lisa, a TV executive, shot video of the Flair incident on her cell phone before informing WWE management that he seemed to be intoxicated. Jane Geddes and Mark Carrano, WWE talent relations executives, were then summoned to remove Flair from the stage as it was still going on.

Flair was said to be “out of control, profane and a total wreck.”

Russ Weakland of HollywoodLife.com said, "I was at the reveal for 2K and then went over to the JW Marriot to grab some food. When I was at the bar getting food, Ric Flair arrived with a friend. Throughout the entire time he was there, he had wine but wasn't drunk."

"Throughout the time Ric was at the bar, Stephanie McMahon, John Laurinitis, Dean Malenko and Michael PS Hayes came down to say hello, and all were in good spirits," Weakland said. "The bit Flair did with Damian Sandow at the 2K reveal was fun and Ric left without incident."
