Word is Styles's new contract is for three additional months. As for Styles's promo on Impact Wrestling, it was completely his idea and TNA had no input on what he said.
During the promo, which you can watch below, Styles said his perception of the business has changed. Styles implied his job at TNA plain sucks because he's been shafted by upper management when he's the hardest working man in the building.
Styles also criticized TNA bringing in the next new star to the company that failed and taking a new direction that didn't go anywhere. In addition, Styles said there were many times in the past year he prayed TNA would fire him so he didn't have to quit, but he stayed because he has a family to support.
Talking directly to the camera, Styles told TNA President Dixie Carter he deserves better. That's the realization Styles said he come to in the past year.
Though Styles has signed with TNA for three more months, he might not be going to WWE when this time runs out. Word is WWE is not only not interested in Styles, but has a policy to not take wrestlers from TNA. While that WWE policy isn't 100 percent stringent, the company didn't jump at the chance to sign Bobby Roode when his contract was up or Matt Morgan after his release.
