Video: Brodus Clay Says Cameron Disrespected Sweet T.

Brodus Clay said in an interview released on August 29 that his argument with Naomi that set her boyfriend Vincent Isayan off was about her disrespecting his tag team partner Sweet T.

"So the actual argument was more about how she reacts to Sweet T. and his experience. And when he says something, you should probably respect it and that wasn't done," Clay told The Fight Network's John Pollock. "So I said something to her about it and she said something to me about it and I said I'm not dealing with it and I walked away because I really don't tell them that much. Do you and I'm gonna do me, you know. Just do right. And they took it, and I guess she looked at it as an opportunity. I'm not really sure."

"The entrance was not what it should have been and we had practices. And when Tensai had mentioned like, 'Hey, this needs to be right. We can't afford to make mistakes,'" Clay said. "And for her to smart off to him and say what she said to him and the way she said that was really disrespectful to a guy who's been in the business a long time, and let's say he was wrong, which he wasn't but, just out of respect you could listen to what he has to say. And she didn't, so I called her on it."

Other factors that contributed to the argument between Clay and Cameron were that they had just been cut from Wrestlemania 29 and were about to perform at the first Raw live taping after the annual event, he said. It was a hard time, Clay added.

"Like I said, it's reality TV. They're going to do what they're going to do. If they bothered to ask me or to talk about it, whatever. Up until that point, I'd never seen Cameron cry a day in my life," Clay said. "She's tough and very outspoken, very confident woman, very domineering. Some would say she can be a little bullying at times."

Clay also addressed Isayan wanting to kick his butt for arguing with his girlfriend.
"First of all, an arena is a big circle building. Yes, so if you start walking one side, you'll pretty much walk by everything, right? And I hang out and get changed in a place called 'Male Talent' that has a giant sign on the door that says 'Male Talent.' Oh and by the way, I'm 6'8 and 360 pounds," Clay said. "So in a circular building with signs directing you to exactly where I am at all times, I think if you really wanted to find me, you could find me. It's not hard. If you walk two laps in that place, you're going to pass everybody twice. So I think he was doing that display for the cameras because I'm not a hard guy to find."

Isayan could've also been trying to show Cameron he'd stick up for her, Clay said. He said he understands that.
