WWE and E! Entertainment have "high hopes" for the success of "Total Divas."
Sources close to the production say WWE and E! feel the show will succeed because it has as a major lead-in, "Keeping Up With Kardashians." Both parties also feel the WWE fan base will tune in to "Total Divas" because they will see familiar Superstars on the show such as John Cena and that new audiences will watch because of its similarity to other female-led reality shows. They also feel the show has received great media exposure.
The plan is for "Total Divas" to run for only eight episodes for now because it's too early to discuss future seasons. Though there's hope one or two other WWE Divas could join the cast if there's a second season.
